Directions to the Herb Garden
From Limassol/Nicosia: arrive at the main roundabout entering Paphos, go straight over (2nd exit); over traffic lights; at next roundabout (note water feature) go straight over (1st exit); at end of the road traffic lights turn right. Continue up this road (Mesogi road) towards Polis and follow Paphos directions…
From Paphos: head up towards Polis, until Strompi, pass esso petrol station, over 2 speed bumps pass police station, continue past polycratou market on right, and small taverna on left. After taverna take the left towards Kathikas, Theletra, Ineia, Arodes, Terra, Kritou Terra, Droushia, Akourdaelia etc… Once you’ve taken this left (note you can see the sea in Paphos on left and the sea in Polis on right) pass Theletra on right, graveyard on left, over speed bump and you will see a sign for Kathikas on left, exactly opposite is a sign for Pano/Kato Akourdaelia and Sterna winery, take this right, continue 4km down the windey road. On entering the village, pass the green post boxes on left, continue down and you will be the big old olive trees, olive press and welcome to chrysseloeussa herb garden… Approx 30 minutes drive
From Polis: Follow the road towards Paphos, pass mini markets of Glikis on right and Byrons on left, continue past sign for Kritou terra, take the next sharp right turn up towards Kato/Pano Akourdaelia, continue up the windey hill through Kato Akourdaelia, right past the church up to Pano Akourdaelia. As you enter the village you will see the new church on left and the church on right…the herb garden is between both on the left. Approx 15 minutes drive.
From Peyeia: Head through Peyeia and continue towards Kathikas/Polis. At Kathikas turn right through Kathikas passing the supermarket and coop bank on left and church on right. At the crossroads continue over towards Kato/Pano Akourdaelia and Sterna winery, continue for 4km, enter Pano Akourdaelia, continue past the green post boxes on right and straight opposite the old church you will see the old olive trees, olive press and you are at the herb garden. Approx 20 minutes drive.
